USDA Value-Added Producer Grant Promos
During my internship, I had the opportunity to help create promotional videos for the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). My team met and interviewed past grant winners about how grants helped their small businesses. I created the logo and edited the footage to create a compelling story.
The following USDA videos won the 2022 American Advertising Awards for Best Film/Video/Sound Branded Content, More Than 60 Seconds, and Best Branded Content & Entertainment Campaign.
Model Farm Promo
One of the expectations of my previous internship was creating a project that would benefit both the fellow and Model Farm. I created a short video advertisement using the Nintendo video game Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I created in-game characters to look like my coworkers and recreated every element of Animal Crossing from the speech bubbles to the logo.
Filmed in Nintendo's "Animal Crossing: New Horizons", edited in Adobe After Effects, 2021.
SKATE.IA
SKATE.IA was my senior capstone project documenting the overlooked skateboarding culture in Iowa. I interviewed students, local Iowans, and a retired pro skater about what it means to be a skater.
Filmed in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro, 2021.
An Interview With Othello
A small project I did after reading Shakespeare's Othello. I used Apple Memojis to create a hypothetical interview of the war soldier Othello about his wife Desdemona with a modern flare. Filmed in Adobe After Effects and iPhone Memoji Messenger, 2019.
